The Springo is based on the Chevrolet Sail concept that debuted at the 2010 Guangzhou Motor Show. It takes the form of a tall compact hatchback whose front end is heavily inspired by the Volt. Technical details are not presently available but the Springo is reportedly equipped with the same 87-horsepower electric motor that will power the upcoming U.S.-bound Spark EV. The car will have a top speed of about 80 mph and a maximum range of roughly 93 miles thanks to a lithium-ion battery back. Look for the Springo to greet the public for the first time at the Guangzhou Motor Show that will open its doors in China on November 23rd, 2012. The car will go on sale across China before the end of the year, and it might be exported to neighboring countries such as South Korea over the course of 2013. div.post-content1 ul li { list-style:disc !important; margin-left:20px; color:#000000; } div.post-content1 ol li { list-style-type: decimal !important; margin-left:20px; color:#000000; } #editorial_graph ul li { list-style:none !important; margin-left:0px; } Source: Leftlanenews
