Audi‘s one of the super fast SUVs, Audi Q5 is given makeover leading to an another distinct product from luxury car makers ‘stable. Recently caught in lances on Munich roads, the all new Audi Q5 gets few minor exterior and interior changes along with new optional engines. Being available as a hybrid for the first time, Audi Q5 also gets major heart transplant.
The 2013 Audi Q5 comes ornamented with new chamfered Audi single-frame grille and a flatter roofline. Moreover, optional xenon headlights adorning LED daytime running lights offer SUV a unique look. On interior front, the SUV comes packed with new colours and new leather/fabric upholstery. Additionally, the electric-assist steering has been improved in 2013 Q5. The new Audi drive select feature enables driver to select between Sport and comfort modes. And another new upgrade Audi Connect is also offered, which uses Google Maps for a wealthier navigational practice.
As far as technical specifications are concerned, standard 2013 Audi Q5 is powered with turbocharged and direct-injected 211bhp 2.0-litre inline-4, mated to an 8-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission. Besides this, for fuel-conscious people, Audi Q5 now comes with hybrid options. Equipped with the 211PS 2.0 TFSI inline-4 coupled to a 54hp electric motor, the Q5 Hybrid can commute 3.04km in clean electric mode. In order to connect with internet via Audi’s MMI infotainment interface, the Q5 can also work as a WiFi hotspot for around eight mobile devices.
