Appropriately dubbed Abarth 500 Cabrio, the droptop is fitted with the same power-sliding cloth roof that is found on the 500c. The two cars share the same convertible-specific features, including a slightly longer windshield which hides a stronger upper cross member. The Abarth Cabrio comes with an aggressive body kit all around, an Abarth-specific exhaust system with chromed tips and lightweight 16-inch rims. Like the 500 that it is based on, the convertible is highly customizable and buyers can mix and match a full palette of exterior and soft top colors. Technical details have yet to be released but the Abarth 500 Cabrio is undoubtedly powered by the same turbocharged 1.4-liter four-cylinder engine that is found in the regular Abarth 500. Linked to a six-speed manual transmission, it sends 160 horsepower and 170 lb-ft. of torque to the front wheels, enabling the pint-sized droptop to hit 60 mph from a stop in roughly seven seconds. After greeting the show-going public in Los Angeles, the Abarth 500 Cabrio will arrive in dealerships throughout the United States in the first half of next year. Pricing information will be released closer to the car's launch. div.post-content1 ul li { list-style:disc !important; margin-left:20px; color:#000000; } div.post-content1 ol li { list-style-type: decimal !important; margin-left:20px; color:#000000; } #editorial_graph ul li { list-style:none !important; margin-left:0px; } Source: Leftlanenews
