Chevrolet Sail U-VA Makes its Way to Bangalore - Asian Cars

After seeing daylight first time on 2nd November 2012 In India, the premium hatchback Chevrolet Sail U-VA has now started its journey on Bangalore roads also. Tagged in a price bracket of Rs. 4.52 lakh – Rs 6.74 lakh (ex-showroom) the all new premium hatchback will be offered in both petrol and diesel engine options.

 
Sharing the plans with reporters, General Motors Vice President P Balendran said that petrol Sail will be offered in four variants priced between Rs. 4.52 lakh and Rs. 5.68 lakh, while diesel car will be available in three variants tagged in the range of Rs. 5.97 lakh – Rs. 6.74 lakh. He also supplemented that around 10,000 enquiries have been received until now and company has started delivery of about 200 vehicles.

 
While asking about market conditions, Balendran said that due to a list of factors like interest rates, inflation and input costs, market is sluggish but company needs to be grown in pace  with  the industry. As no one can take anything seriously until it creates some thrills in market, so does apply to GM too. And for the same it would bring in new vehicles. Cars are always introduced while keeping long perspective in the mind, he added.
