Nissan prices redesigned '13 Sentra from $15,990 - LatestCarsWallpapers.com

Nissan's redesigned Sentra will go on sale later this year in the United States, where it will boast a base price about $500 lower than the outgoing 2012 model.

Details about the redesigned Sentra are already available in our buyer's guide, but Nissan just detailed the new model's pricing today.

The model mix

Anchoring the bottom of the lineup is the $15,990 Sentra S with its choice of transmissions (adding the CVT ups the base price to $17,260). Opting for the FE+ fuel economy package on Sentra S CVT models bumps the price by $400.

From there, the $17,970 Sentra SV adds cruise control, two extra speakers, steering wheel audio controls, an alarm system and unique interior trim. Again, an extra $400 nets buyers the FE+ package.

The $18,870 Sentra SR is aimed at enthusiast buyers and it includes its own styling package, fog lamps and a chrome exhaust tip, as well as 17-inch alloy wheels. Inside, it gets its own upholstery and special silver trim.

The range-topping $19,760 Sentra SL builds on the SV with alloy wheels, fog lamps, heated mirrors, a proximity key, Bluetooth, a display audio system, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and dual zone automatic climate control. For the first model year, Nissan estimates that about 40 percent of buyers will pick either the SL or the SR.

To net 40 mpg, the optional FE+ package includes underbody aerodynamic aids, a grille shutter system like the Ford Focus and Chevrolet Cruze and low rolling resistance tires. The FE+ fuel economy package is available on S and SV models.
