The HB20X shares most of its sheet metal with the HB20 but it gains off-road-specific equipment such as skid plates on both ends and plastic protection on the rocker panels and the wheel arches. The crossover's front end is more aggressive than that of the hatchback that it is based on thanks to an imitation mesh grille and a healthy dose of brushed aluminum trim. Hyundai did not release pictures of the car's interior, saying only that it is packed with upmarket features such as sport pedals and chrome trim. The compact crossover is only offered with a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that can run on both gasoline and ethanol. Linked to either an automatic or a manual transmission, it sends 128 horsepower to the front set of wheels. Hyundai does not plan on offering an all-wheel drive version of the car so buyers who are looking to take it off-roading will have to settle for a slightly raised ground clearance. The HB20X is scheduled to go on sale in Brazil before the end of the year. It was designed specifically for Latin American and Hyundai has no plans to offer it in Europe or in the United States. div.post-content1 ul li { list-style:disc !important; margin-left:20px; color:#000000; } div.post-content1 ol li { list-style-type: decimal !important; margin-left:20px; color:#000000; } #editorial_graph ul li { list-style:none !important; margin-left:0px; } Source: Leftlanenews
