Two colossuses of 1960s Britain united for a brief spell, and now this 1964 Aston Martin DB5, originally owned by Sir Paul McCartney, is up for auction. This beautiful example of Aston's most iconic model was originally ordered by legendary Beatles singer-songwriter Sir Paul McCartney in 1964. This month it will head to RM Auction's London Auction where over 90 collector cars will be crossing the auction block. Finished in Sierra Blue paint with a black leather interior, the DB5, whose reputation as one of the world's most renowned cars was helped in no small part to its association with James Bond, was powered by a 280-horsepower 4.0-liter inline-six mated to a five-speed manual.
