EcoBoost Mustang could pack 310 horsepower from the same engine as the upcoming Focus RS. As its 2013 New York Auto Show reveal gets closer, the internet has been full of rumors regarding the next-generation Ford Mustang. We already know that the next Mustang will ride on a new rear-wheel-drive platform complete with an independent rear suspension, ditching the solid rear axle setup. Still, overall dimensions will likely be similar to the current car, but with a decidedly anti-retro design taking some cues from the Evos concept which Ford displayed in Frankfurt last year. Now the rumors are circulating of its potential powertrain options. Source: Carbuzz
