The Infiniti FX Sebastian Vettel edition sells for £50k over the standard FX50, but what do you get for all that extra cash? Evo's Harry Metcalfe investigates. Following its reveal in concept form at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show, Infiniti announced a limited run of the FX Sebastian Vettel edition. As tested, the limited edition FX50 is around £50,000 more than the stock car, so Evo magazine founder Harry Metcalfe set about determining what the extra cash gets you. Well, for one, it doesn't get you the funky roof spoiler. That, if you can believe it, is a £4,000 optional extra. But at the two-time F1 champion's request, the Vettel FX does pack more power than the standard FX50 - albeit just 32 horsepower more. That extra juice, however, does translate into a higher top speed and improved acceleration. There's also a more refined cabin with carbon and Alcantara to justify the price tag, and the exhaust note has been retuned. Only 200 examples will be made, which is probably just as well, because as Harry determines, it's hard to imagine Infiniti selling more than that. Source: Carbuzz
