Jaguar announced on Monday that the base model F-Type will arrive with a starting price of $69,000, slotting the roadster between the Porsche Boxster and 911. For that price of entry you get a 340 horsepower supercharged 3.0L V6 capable of slinging the F-Type from 0-60 in 5.1 seconds.

The mid-level F-Type S will carry a base price of $81,000. The F-Type S uses the same supercharged 3.0L V6 as the base car, but power grows to 380 horsepower. As a result of that power boost, the F-Type S requires just 4.8 seconds to hit 60mph from a standstill.

Topping off the range is the $92,000 F-Type V8 S. Boasting a 495 horsepower 5.0L and an active rear differential, the F-Type V8 S can rip off a 0-60 run 4.2 seconds, carrying on to a top speed of 186mph.

Jaguar is holding off on revealing option pricing for the F-Type, but we expect that information closer to the car's 2013 launch date.
