Simply alluring all-new Alto 800 is crafted on the current Alto platform and it will be available soon in both petrol and CNG options. The model appears very smart and sporty with complete new designing and modern look.

 
The company claims that the new Alto 800 is much spacious than the older Alto F8D with extra leg and head room. The car is said to be powered by the F8D, 3-cylinder 796cc engine, which is capable of churning out top power of 49PS @ 6000 rpm and great torque of 69Nm @ 3500 rpm. The engine will be mated to five-speed manual gearbox as standard option.

 
Working effectively to price the car competitively in the Indian auto market to cover impressive sales figure in the forthcoming festive time, Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 is expected to boast a cost tag of Rs. 2.45 lakh for the low-end variant. But the CNG version will surely be pricier than the same by around Rs. 45K.
