The teaser sketch shows that the wagon will be taller than the current Europe-only Accord Tourer. It will have an aggressive stance thanks to a rakish D-pillar and sculpted flanks that are inspired by the ones found on the current-gen Civic hatchback. The rear door handles will be integrated into the C-pillar, a design cue that is also found on the recently-unveiled Renault Clio station wagon. Honda did not mention what engines will be found under the hood but the range will include a wide array of gasoline- and diesel-burning four-cylinder engines, including the low-emissions 1.6-liter i-DTEC turbodiesel. All versions of the wagon will be front-wheel drive. A concept car that will preview Honda's upcoming station wagon will likely be unveiled at next year's Geneva Motor Show. At the time of writing Honda does not plan on offering a station wagon of the Civic in the United States. Source: Leftlanenews
