Carmakers love to bid adieu to a generation with a final edition model. Marking the occasion or moving inventory, whatever their reasons carmakers love to send off a generation with a "final edition" model. There have been some pretty cool models over the decades, but we've focused on those that have been created over the past couple of years. From the BA3 Final Edition for the awesome G-Wagon to Weisman's psychedelic MF3 Roadster, we present our favourite five, while looking forward to Lamborghini's long-awaited final edition Gallardo. more at CarBuzz: CLS63 AMG by Misha DesignsNext Mercedes S-Class Caught TestingBMW Pays Tribute to its 3 Series Based on the short-wheelbase Station Wagon, the BA3 Final Edition marked the end of the G-Class and was available as a G350 or G500 model, the latter packing a 5.5-liter V8 good for 388 hp and 391 lb-ft of torque. Visuals upgrades that marked the G-Class as a Final Edition model include AMG flared wheel arches with 18-inch 5-twin-spoke light alloys, running boards, a spare wheel cover with a stainless-steel 3D Mercedes-Benz star, and an AMG radiator grille in a 3-louvre design with chrome highlights. Inside the BA3 Final Edition bpasted ambient lighting, chrome and walnut wood trim and black leather front seats.
