The latest series of special stamps from the US Postal Service features five muscle cars that endure as icons of American motoring. The muscle car is every bit an American icon as the Grand Canyon and the Statue of Liberty so ingrained they are in Americana. That's the kind of icon the US Postal Service seeks out to commemorate with special-edition stamps, and now it's done just that. Designed by Tom Fritz, the collection includes the 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS, '69 Dodge Charger Daytona, '67 Shelby GT500, '66 Pontiac GTO and '70 Plymouth Hemi Cuda. It hits shelves at post offices across the nation today. Source: Carbuzz
