The Ferrari Testarossa is a classic supercar that holds dear memories for any of us who grew up watching "Miami Vice". For those of us who grew up in the 1980s and early 90s, there were two Italian supercars that dominated our hearts and minds: the Lamborghini Countach and the Ferrari Testarossa. Both were perfect examples of Italian supercar exotics, but the closest most of us ever got to either were usually posters tacked to our childhood bedrooms walls. Both stood as icons of supercar styling in their day, and endure as such today. But unlike the Countach, it seems like the Testarossa is sometimes forgotten in the pages of Ferrari history. Ferrari has built many more models than Lamborghini ever has, even though the Countach was on the market for 16 years compared to the Testarossa's 12 - the same number of cylinders in its red-cammed boxer engine.
