New A45 AMG isn't the only compact performance model in the pipeline at Affalterbach. If you were disappointed by the revelation that the new Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG - just revealed the other day in advance of its upcoming Geneva show debut - won't be available in North America, take heart: the latest reports indicate that AMG is planning no less than three more compact performance machines using the same mechanical bits. First up will be the CLA45 AMG, the four-door coupe model which is being geared up specifically for American tastes for debut at the New York Auto Show only weeks after the A45's debut in Geneva.
