"The way I see it, if you're gonna build a time machine into a car, why not do it with some style?" - Dr. Emmett L. "Doc" Brown There were three DeLorean Time Machines built for the famous "Back to the Future" trilogy. The "Hero A" car was the most detailed of the three and was used for all close-up shots in the beloved films. The C car was actually cut in half for close-up interior shots. Unfortunately, the years hadn't been kind to the A car and it wasn't in the best of shape for such an icon. But that all changed thanks to co-creator, writer and producer Bob Gale and experts Joe Walser and Terry Matalas. The restoration team has been hard at work bringing the A car back to life, and after months of hard work, the restoration is finished (complete with flux capacitor and time circuits) and on display, looking better than ever, at Universal Studios Hollywood.
