Details are still very scarce but the car promises to be one of the most desirable Lamborghinis ever built. "[The upcoming super car] will be the fastest model Lamborghini has ever produced and it will be built in very low volumes," said design boss Filippo Perini in an interview with Australia's Car Advice. "Less than ten cars will be produced and most of them have already likely been sold." Perini declined to give more precise information about the car, saying only that the storied Italian automaker wants to "shock the world" with it. In an earlier interview, company boss Stephen Winkelmann confirmed that the upcoming car will not wear a retro-styled body or revive an old nameplate. This rules out the oft-rumored return of the iconic Miura that was built in the 1960s. Happy 50th Not content with merely unveiling a one-off car, Lamborghini is inviting owners of models old and new to ship their vehicle to Milan, Italy, next May to take part in a 750-mile long rally called Gran Giro Lamborghini. The rally will take participants through the scenic Italian countryside and end at the gates of the firm's historic Sant'Agata Bolognese factory. A full set of details about Lamborghini's next super car will be available in the next few weeks. /* @Himanshu 09-01-2013
