The new Golf R Cabrio is a proper farewell to the sixth-generation Golf lineup. Last December Volkswagen revealed its new Golf R Cabrio in a video, showing it in its last stages of development. But today VW has rolled out the real deal. This drop-to Golf is the fastest-ever production open-top Golf. Power comes from a 2.0-liter turbo inline-four that's good for 270 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque and mated to a six-speed DSG dual-clutch gearbox, sending power to the front wheels. It has an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph and will go from 0-62 mph in just 6.4 seconds.
