First Corvette Stingray Ad Airs - 2013 Luxury Cars News

Chevy deems the new Vette "Enemy of the Same" in sports car's first TV commercial. We've seen a lot of the new Corvette Stingray. After it debuted at the Detroit Auto Show, the first model sold for over a million bucks at auction. We then managed to see three Stingrays in the flesh thanks to an opportunistic fan who caught GM engineers taking a trio of C7s for a spin. Chevrolet recently revealed that the Corvette Stingray Convertible would be coming to the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, and now we have the first official commercial for the brand-new sports car. For a car that screams at you from every angle, the new ad is surprisingly understated but does a fine job at highlighting its aggressive styling and throaty engine note. It is perhaps a little unrefined, but then again so is the car (previous models, at least). But what do you expect for $50,000? We'll soon find out.
