It's been a few years in the making, but Alfa Romeo's upcoming mid-engined 4C sports car will produce 237 horsepower when it arrives in showrooms. We recently had some spy shots showing Alfa Romeo's upcoming 4C undergoing final testing. But what we haven't been able to confirm is what the power output will be of the mid-engined Porsche Boxster fighter. Until now. Originally reported by Carscoop, a Swiss Alfa Romeo dealer said the Italian automaker has confirmed the mid-engined 4C will be powered by a 1.7-liter turbocharged inline-four that will produce 237 horsepower in the base model. For comparison, the base Boxster/Cayman produces 271 hp.
