Honda to Roll out First Diesel Sedan "Amaze" Next Year - Asian Cars

Honda Brio, the small car from Honda’ stable spred love all around and now same can be expected from upcoming sedan Amaze, which will be based on same Brio platform. To be tagged as Honda’s first diesel car offering for the Indian market, Amaze sedan will be introduced in Thailand and Indian market over the next 12 months.

 
While Amaze will be offered with gasoline engine in the Thailand market, India will enjoy both petrol and newly developed diesel engines housed in the car. To be positioned in entry level sedan segment for the India, Amaze is built on Honda’s M/M concept working on company’s basic tradition to made human centred vehicles that exploit the space available for people and curtail the space necessary for mechanical apparatus.

 
As per the statement issued by the company, Honda is introducing this vehicle to hold the demand emerging in Asian market, where competition is gradually gearing up. It is also clear that keeping in mind the increasing cost competitiveness, the vehicle pricing will be made reasonable through local sourcing and manufacturing.

 
Coming back to Amaze, statement said that the all new entry level sedan will actually amaze customers beyond expectations by offering different and pleasing values. Maintaining the core values of Honda to focus on growing middle class group of country, the all new sedan will offer class leading fuel efficiency and excellent power delivery.
