The four-door M6 is very similar to its coupe sibling and the two share the same grille, body kit and carbon fiber hood.  The Gran Coupe is fitted with a specific rear air diffuser and new wheels, however.     Although BMW has yet to confirm this, the M6 Gran Coupe will undoubtedly use the same twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine that is already found under the hood of the M6 Coupe and the M5.  Linked to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, it will send 560 horsepower and 500 lb-ft. of torque to the rear set of wheels via an Active M limited-slip differential.     Whether or not a manual transmission will be offered as an option later in the car's production run is not currently known.     After greeting the show-going public in Detroit, the M6 Gran Coupe will arrive in showrooms in the fall of 2013 as a 2014 model.
