The four-door M6 is very similar to its coupe sibling and the two share the same grille, body kit and carbon fiber hood. The Gran Coupe is fitted with a specific rear air diffuser and new wheels, however. Although BMW has yet to confirm this, the M6 Gran Coupe will undoubtedly use the same twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine that is already found under the hood of the M6 Coupe and the M5. Linked to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, it will send 560 horsepower and 500 lb-ft. of torque to the rear set of wheels via an Active M limited-slip differential. Whether or not a manual transmission will be offered as an option later in the car's production run is not currently known. After greeting the show-going public in Detroit, the M6 Gran Coupe will arrive in showrooms in the fall of 2013 as a 2014 model. Pricing information and a more complete set of details will be revealed closer to the car's debut. div.post-content1 ul li { list-style:disc !important; margin-left:20px; color:#000000; } div.post-content1 ol li { list-style-type: decimal !important; margin-left:20px; color:#000000; } #editorial_graph ul li { list-style:none !important; margin-left:0px; } Source: Leftlanenews
