Aston's Updated DB9 Gets First Video Review - Latest Cars News

British publication Autocar is the first to give the 2013 Aston Martin DB9 a good seeing to. Designed by Ian Callum and Henry Fisker, the Aston Martin DB9 has been well-loved since it launched back in 2004. But after eight years, the British luxury carmaker felt its stylish grand tourer was in need of a refresh. The resulting 2013 DB9 was unveiled last month at the Paris Motor Show and Autocar is the first to serve up a video review of the coupe. Among the updates, Aston revised its long-serving 6.0-liter V12 with new cylinder heads, intake manifold, throttle bodies and fuel pump. The result is an increase in output from 470 to 510 horsepower and from 443 to 457 pound-feet of torque. Beyond the engine, though, the DB9 has a more angular grille, zinc air vents on the hood, bigger trunklid spoiler and more aggressive lines in between. The interior has been enhanced with new leather, trim and glass switchgear.
