Infiniti Q50 To Have Mercedes Power - 2013 SuperRace Cars News

In order to take on the benchmark BMW 3 Series, Infiniti's upcoming Q50 will be powered by a Mercedes engine. We've known for some time that Infiniti's new BMW 3 Series fighter, the Q50, will replace the outgoing and unexciting G sedan. And aside from its striking Zen-like exterior design, the Q50 will also have another surprise, this time under the hood. Infiniti has just announced that the debut of the Q5, due to take place next month at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, will also be the first example of its new partnership with Daimler AG. In other words, the new Q50 will be powered by a Mercedes-Benz engine.
