TRD Testing GT86-Based Supercar - Race Cars 2013

Initial testing of FR-S tuned by Toyota Racing Development already proving one of the fastest cars on Japan's Tsubuka circuit. When the doors open at the Tokyo Auto Salon on January 11, you can bet there'll be plenty of customized versions of the Toyota GT86 and Subaru BRZ on display. Toyota's Gazoo Racing division is bringing a rebodied, twin-charged GT86, Subaru will have a host of mods on display, and Toyota Racing Development will be on hand with what it's calling the 86 TRD Griffon Concept. Details remain sketchy at the moment pending its official reveal in Tokyo, but TRD has already announced the results of initial testing.
