Celebrating its 100 years of car making in typical style, Aston Martin threw a party in Dubai flying a Vanquish to the top of a quart-mile high hotel. Aston Martin kicked off its 100th year celebrations by quietly revealing the Centenary Edition Vanquish, the first of a series of upcoming special edition models based on the V8 Vantage, DB9 and Rapide. While most people were too busy focusing on the new Corvette and other delights at the Detroit Motor Show to take notice, Aston Martin threw a birthday bash in Dubai where it airlifted its $300k Vanquish to the top of the 1000-foot-tall Burj Al Arab hotel by helicopter.
