Mercedes to Expand S-Class with Coupe and Convertible - Expensive Cars 2013

With stronger competition coming from the likes of Rolls-Royce and Bentley, Mercedes-Benz is giving its next-generation S-Class coupe and sedan an added dose of styling adrenaline. The next-generation Mercedes-Benz S-Class sedan and coupe will debut sometime in 2014, but each one has high expectations to meet if they are to remain at the top of the luxury class. Autocar is now bringing us some new details about the upcoming S-Class lineup, claiming that it will include five models in three different body styles and wheelbase lengths. With the recent discontinuation of its uber luxury Maybach brand, Mercedes is aiming the S-Class sedan to help fill this market gap.
