Festive season is about to kick in India and we have already heard so many new launches and other kind of freebies from various auto giants in order to lure the customers but few carmakers are still in process to make most of the demand to be arisen during this season. As of now, the hot news comes from Toyota’s stable, which is set to launch new variants of its existing models Corolla Altis, Etios sedan and sports utility vehicle Fortuner.

 
After bearing the burden of decline sales counts in the month of September, Toyota Motors aspires to boost its sales volumes in the upcoming Diwali festivities. And that is why company is coming with limited editions of few models, which will be sold at a slightly higher price tag with some added features. While company plans to sell 600 units of Fortuner and 1,000 units of Etios sedan, Corolla Altis is expected to get 400 buyers to take this home.

 
As per Hiroshi Nakagawa, Managing Director, TKML, an announcement for launch of these limited models will be made between October 15 and 20 and same will be rolled out by the end of this month. Alike Toyota Etios Liva and Innova limited edition launched recently, company is sure to witness a satisfactory success for these upcoming models too, he added.

 
Sandeep Singh, Deputy Managing Director (Marketing), TKML reportedly quoted that new generation Corolla is expected to launch sometime in year 2014, but company does not have any new launch in next one year, so with an aim to create new excitement for its existing models, it is coming with limited editions of the same. And perhaps it will follow the similar tradition until then, he said.
