Honda City CNG Sedan Likely to Debut this October - India Cars News - LatestCarsWallpapers.com

Sometime before, it was in news that Honda Cars India will introduce CNG version of its highly populated City sedan. And now same seems to happen as some of the close sources from Honda confirmed the news of launching CNG City by the end of October. The all new CNG City sedan will be around Rs.50, 000 pricier than its current model.

 
Honda has been working on this project since a long time and it is believed that few minor tunings will be done in the current model that will possibly include changes in instrument panel. Moreover suspension is also expected to become more powerful in order to support the additional CNG unit weight, which is being housed in the boot of the car. In addition to this, engine is likely to be tuned with an aim to offer improved fuel efficiency, which is the need of the day.

 
If speculations are to be believed, Honda will follow Hyundai’s tradition to get CNG kits fitted by the dealers. Hyundai, some days back offered CNG kits with its three car models including Santro Xing, i10 and the Accent with the dealer end installation scheme. And in Honda’s case too, CNG kits will not come as factory made units.

 
Though Honda has its own name in Indian car market, but absence of diesel vehicles in its portfolio seriously has been hampering its success, so to meet the competition, auto group will come with Brio diesel by the next year. Apart from this, Brio automatic will also make its presence on 18th October. Well as something is better than nothing, CNG sedan in festive season would surely be a cherry on the cake.
