Ever wonder how a Corvette handles on an icy snow-covered Swedish lake? Here's your answer. We've seen a few all-wheel drive supercars take on the harsh winter snow lately but we still think it'd be even more fun to go in something with rear-wheel drive for an icy spin. As it turns out, a journalist from the UK's Telegraph had the same idea. Instead of an Audi R8 or Lamborghini Gallardo, he opted for the all-American Chevrolet Corvette Z06. Its 7.0-liter V8 produces 505 horsepower, but even with all of that power on hand, the bigger issue is how exactly the old "Plastic Fantastic" performs on a frozen Swedish lake. Aside from being equipped with a set of snow tires for the slippery occasion, this Z06 is completely stock. If anyone manages to do something similar anywhere in the world this winter, we do recommend bringing along a couple of snow shovels as well. You'll likely need them. (See something cool on YouTube?
