With the demand of commercial vehicles declining in the past few months, the stars of Tata Motors also seem to face darkness as steadily lessening demand has forced car maker to announce another block closure for three days at its Jamshedpur plant, after two production halt earlier, one of which was recently undertaken from November 12-14. Validating the plan, a Tata spokeperson remarked that the block closure is planned due to pitiable demands of commercial vehicles. Company wishes to regulate its productions according to demands instead of accumulating inventory at dealer’s end, he added.
