Tata Storme witnesses Booking Rush as Revealed on Twitter

Just 1 day more and then world will witness a true blue SUV coming from Tata’s home. To be launched on October 17th, Tata Safari Storme as of now seems creating buzz among customers. And same is revealed at official Twitter page of Tata Motors saying that the company has got good number of bookings for the car before its launch. However there is no word for price and features of the SUV along with the variants, this step looks like some social media marketing plan, which is common in Indian automotive industry.

 
As per some close sources, it is revealed that Tata Storme can be booked for a token amount of Rs. 50,000 and delivery of the car will probably start about a week before Diwali. Storme is much refined version of existing model and if the company manages to get the pricing of car right, the SUV will truly become hot-selling vehicle for the auto group.

 
Built on the Aria platform, Tata Safari Storme is housed with the same 2.2-litre DiCOR turbo diesel engine powering the current Safari DiCOR, which can churn out a peak power of 140bhp and peak torque of 320 Nm. Expected to be more fuel efficient than current Safari, Storme comes with a 5 speed manual gearbox. However the all new SUV will carry a price tag higher than existing model, but it is likely be cheaper than its chief contender Mahindra XUV 500. Well stay tuned here for more updates.
