Forza Horizon gets that much more tempting with a whole mess of new cars added via downloadable content packs. The virtual world of online gaming has allowed software developers to release regular updates to their most popular titles, and racing games are chief among them. In the case of the ever-popular Forza series for Xbox, Turn 10 Studios puts out a new downloadable content (DLC) package each month. With Forza Horizon being the latest installment in the series, the January DLC pack brings a variety of new vehicles to the game as part of the Recaro Car Pack. The strangest additions are the Cadillac Escalade ESV and 1983 GMC Vandura. Fortunately the SUV and van aren't the only cars in the latest DLC, which also includes the Lotus Exige S, the Lexus LFA Nurburgring Edition, the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren and the 1995 Ford Mustang Cobra R. The latter is arguably the ultimate incarnation of the jellybean-shaped pony car, packing 300 horsepower from a 5.8-liter V8. The pack will be available on Xbox Live from January 1 for 400 MS points, but if you have the Season Pass, you're already covered, and as a special bonus, you also get the Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster. Come January 15 there'll also be a Honda pack with the new Civic Coupe, rally-spec Fit and '86 Civic Si. It follows the Rally pack released a couple of weeks ago. Source: Carbuzz
