After comparing it to the ZR1 Corvette, Motor Trend brings us its video impressions on the new Viper. We were blown away when SRT unveiled the all-new Viper last March in New York. It looks absolutely stunning and nearly every part of it, inside and out, has been drastically improved over its predecessor. But now it's finally time for the anticipated test drives in the 8.4-liter V10-powered super-snake. With its 640 horsepower and 600 lb-ft of torque driving the rear wheels through a six-speed manual, the latest Viper is still a beast of a car, even with the stablility and traction control systems mandated by the government. So how does it drive? MT's Carlos Lago steps in behind the wheel at Laguna Seca to find out. See what he finds in the video below, and check out the photos by William Walker, courtesy of Motor Trend.
