A bare-bones sportscar from Renault-Nissan's budget brand could help Dacia drum up some excitement, but we wouldn't count it as heading for production just yet. We wouldn't blame you if you've never heard of Dacia. It's an obscure Romanian automaker owned by Renault that sells budget-friendly, bare-bones cars in select overseas markets. But the brand's UK boss isn't satisfied leaving things there. The brand is about to officially launch in Great Britain, but Auto Express is reporting that Dacia's UK managing director wants a two-seat sportscar to drum up some excitement for the brand and bring potential buyers into showrooms.
